About Gizmo
Gizmo the Wonder Dog books were originally based on a real live Yorkshire terrier named Gizmo. He loved to eat, sleep and play outdoors with his little girl Anne Marie.
As Gizmo got older he developed a passion for adventure all over the world and into space! Keep an eye out for future adventures with his new friend Tuffy the squirrel!
The Gizmo series features exciting adventures designed to inspire and educate young readers, encouraging curiosity and a love for learning.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Kent Murphy, a retired Head and Neck Surgeon, is an avid explorer and dedicated grandfather. An alumnus of the United States Air Force Academy, he contributed to NASA’s Space Shuttle program during its peak.
His medical journey includes a Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University and extensive training in General Surgery, Aerospace Medicine, and Otolaryngology at top institutions. Dr. Murphy’s passion for education and mentorship continues as he volunteers with aspiring medical cadets in Colorado Springs, where he resides.
